About Us


All of our dogs are AKC registered.  We carefully select our breeding stock from some of the best
breeders available.  The average price of a dog from our breeding stock is considerably higher
than what we charge for our puppies.  It is scientifically proven that puppies will carry the same
genetic traits as their parents.  All of our dogs are either OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals,
www.offa.org) registered and/or come from a OFA lineage. We OFA for hip dysplasia and/or
elbows.  The ONLY way to limit the possibilities of having health problems is by buying a puppy
from OFA parents or from parents with a solid OFA lineage.  ALL of our puppies come with a
written health warranty.  

When purchasing a puppy the old adage is true, "you get what you pay for."  You cannot produce a
quality puppy from poor quality parents.  Too frequently people make their decision based upon:

Price - The sweetness of a "cheap price" is short lived, the sting of poor quality lasts a long
time.
Location of breeder to their home- Convenience should not be a primary decision criteria in
your dog purchase.  Consider this is a future family member; a one hour drive may be prevent
a lot of future heartbreak.
Pictures - This is the worst way to select a future puppy.  As all puppies regardless of quality
or breed are cute.
Quick availability of puppies - There is a reason quality breeders have a waiting list, and
"backyard breeders" do not.

For all of our dogs we follow or exceed recommended veterinary care, vaccinations, and
medications.  Our dogs are fed premium dog food, and are raised in the most hygienic conditions
possible.  Our dogs are housed in a very large building with their own area inside as well as a large
run outside.  These areas are cleaned frequently to ensure the highest sanitary conditions.  
However a few of our dogs are house dogs.  All puppies are raised inside the home not just a
kennel.

Our puppies are raised in a climate controlled area that is cleaned frequently  Prenatal and
postnatal care is critical to producing the best quality puppy possible.  We go to great lengths to
ensure this.  This area is equipped with a pet door, which enables us to begin the housebreaking
process at four weeks of age.  All puppies are given worming treatments four times before going
home.   We invite anyone out to meet us and our dogs, as well as viewing the facilities.  Please call
ahead and make an appointment.  

We do not breed German/European working dogs.  These dogs are used in protection/attack,
police, military, or narcotic/bomb detection.   Our focus is on the conformation lines.  These lines
(Conformation /show lines) focus on the herding (protective) instinct of the German Shepherd.  We
have had experience in both types of dogs.  We have done Schutzhund training (and have actually
lived in Germany for an extensive time period) with German/European dogs.  We have also done
obedience, conformation, and therapy training with confirmation dogs.  It is our experience, and
belief that the conformation lines are better suited for the family than their German/European
counterparts.  Many European breeders differ in this opinion.  However, very few have any
experience with the American lines, and even fewer have visited let alone lived in Germany.  

We are active members in good standing of the German Shepherd Dog Club of Atlanta, and the
German Shepherd Dog Club of America.  We are also signers of the breeder of ethics.

Under normal conditions deposits are non-refundable once the puppies have been born.  However,
if you have placed a deposit, and we do not have enough puppies of the gender you selected we
will gladly refund your deposit.
